Winter 2017

The time has come to welcome a fresh New Year 2017 with passion and enthusiasm. Whether it is renewed enthusiasm for things we wanted to accomplish in 2016 but didn’t quite make it or a brand new focus, this is the time of year we often approach things with a fresh outlook. In 2017, I challenge our membership to look at their ACHE membership and service with a fresh outlook as well. Through participation in the Mississippi Healthcare Executives both in the educational offerings and service opportunities, each of us can recognize greater benefit from our ACHE membership in 2017.

Our Mississippi Healthcare Executives chapter is a leading chapter with ACHE. We have been recognized for the Award of Chapter Merit for the past two years. It is only through your dedicated service and participation that we have received this recognition. I want to thank each of you for your involvement and dedication to our chapter and encourage you to further that commitment in the coming year.

Please mark your calendars for the Mississippi Healthcare Executives winter meeting February 2-3, 2017. There will be some exciting new opportunities for networking and professional development. Also, I encourage you to plan your trip to the 2017 Congress on Healthcare Leadership “Discovering Possibilities and Opportunities” March 27-30, 2017 in Chicago. I look forward to visiting with each of you at these great events.
