Each year, the ACHE Regent for Mississippi along with the Board of the Mississippi Healthcare Executives (who also serves as the Regent’s Advisory Council) receives nominations for consideration for the following two awards, the Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award and the Early Careerist Award.
The qualifications for these two awards are provided below. If you are interested in nominating a member of your organization or an individual from another organization for one of these two awards, please provide your nomination letter and include how your nominee has exemplified the criteria as listed in the award descriptions below.
- Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award – The Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award can be presented annually to a Fellow of ACHE who has demonstrated leadership, innovative management, and creativity. Eligible awardees exemplify leadership in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities, participate in civic/community activities and projects, and are capable in promoting the growth and stature of their organizations within the community. This award signifies an executive’s interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives and rewards their contributions to the development of others in the healthcare profession. Nominees must be a CEO, COO, or other senior-level executive within their organization and be an ACHE member in good standing.
- Early Careerist Award – This award can be presented annually to an ACHE chapter member in good standing who has demonstrated leadership ability, innovative and creative management, and executive capability. Awardees participate regularly in hospital or health association activities at the local, state, and national level and demonstrate an interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives. This award recognizes leaders who are within their first 10-years of their career.
